FLYING CROSS FARM

WHAT: Classes held in conjunction with our Young Event Horse Competition, using the same dressage test, jumping courses, and judging format as the YEH 4 & 5 year olds geared specifically for THOROUGHBREDS ONLY of ANY AGE within one or two years off the racetrack!

WHY: Using the YEH format, riders are able to showcase the potential of their OTTB while encouraging the development of thoroughbreds as successful, competitive, top-level event horses for the future. Classes focus on education and preparation of the event horse in a correct and progressive manner. Many OTTBs come off the track later then 4 & 5 year olds, and therefore miss out on the opportunity to compete in the YEH and FEH classes. This special class will not only showcase the breed but also provide horses and riders with the educational, constructive feedback that the YEH program provides.
